Non-Union Benefits
Non-Union Benefits - EP Cares
In order to be eligible for EP Cares, you must be a full-time, non-union crew member working on a Self Managed production. We define “full-time” as 30 hours per week across six or more weeks, minimum. Hours can be combined across multiple productions. Please note that crew members engaged via 1099 (e.g., “loan outs”) are not eligible.
You can find the enrollment information within your start paperwork. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive an email with an enrollment link within three to four weeks after your start date. Once enrolled, you will automatically be granted a monthly subsidy.
Your allotted subsidy is dependent on your medical plan election. For employee only coverage, we will contribute up to $1,000 per month towards the premium cost of the plan(s) you choose. If you enroll in medical coverage for yourself & your spouse or dependents, we’ll contribute up to $1,200 per month towards your monthly premium. Any further costs outside of this threshold will be paid as an out-of-pocket expense. This allowance gives you the opportunity for obtaining coverage at no cost of your own.
If you choose to enroll, your benefits will activate at the beginning of the first month after 30 calendar days from your start date.
Example 1: Your start paperwork indicates a start date of Feb 3, 2022. If you choose to enroll, your benefits will go into effect on April 1, 2022.
Example 2: Your start paperwork indicates a start date of Feb 28, 2022. If you choose to enroll, your benefits will go into effect on April 1, 2022.
